The MHPodcast

What is the MHPodcast?

The MHPodcast is a new podcast series organized and produced by UCSB's Mental Health Peers! This podcast will focus on a variety of topics pertaining to the UCSB community and college students in general, with the goals of increasing mental health awareness and facilitating dialogue steering the conversations. 

What MHPodcast Episodes Are Currently Out?

Podcast episodes will be released on our streaming platforms (listed below) as they are completed. Our goal is to continue to work on and complete quality episodes for the UCSB community to enjoy throughout the year! Below are descriptions of episodes that are currently available/soon to come, as well as some recommendations for further reading and additional resources.
Episode 1: MHPodcast Introduction (Out Now!)
In our first episode, MHP Kaitlyn gives a great introduction on the MHPodcast itself and a brief overview of the UCSB MHP program itself.

In this episode, multiple Mental Health Peers join together to offer a detailed and informative description of what the MHP team does and the services that our program offers!

Episode 3: Mental Health During COVID-19 (Coming Soon!)

​In this episode, our Mental Health Peers discuss some of the various ways in which this COVID-19 world may be affecting individuals' mental health and daily lives. The different effects that COVID-19 may have on specific student groups, social relationships, personal finances, and other important topics will be discussed.
