Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is committed to providing timely, effective, and culturally-appropriate mental health services to our diverse UCSB student body, as well as consultations to faculty, staff, and families. 

When help is needed for personal concerns, CAPS is a resource for learning new skills in building self confidence, relating to others, reducing stress, solving problems, and identifying options. 

CAPS offers individual counseling, group counseling, consultation, & outreach to the campus community.
All registered UCSB students are eligible for services and services are covered by your student fees.

The MHP Program is located in Building 434, Room 100 (Located between the Main CAPS Building and South Hall. Directly across the bike back from Storke Tower)
