Coming Out During College

Picture
Being away from family, hometown friends, and the communities we came from gives students the chance to explore themselves in ways that they previously couldn't. College is a time where many LGBTQPIA+ students will start to embrace their identity more and share their true selves to others. It's important to note that there is more than one "coming out"; LGBTQPIA+ students will find themselves coming out to new people they meet, people they haven't seen in a long time, and to their loved ones. So how do you go about coming out? Where do you start? Read the article below for some tips on coming out during college.
